The Gather Collective - Autumn 2024
If you've known me for even just a little bit, then you know that I'm a fall girlie through & through! As much as I delight in different aspects of each season, there's just something about the autumn that makes it so cozy and inviting. Maybe it's waking up to chilly mornings and anticipating that first sip of hot coffee. Maybe it's the snuggly sweaters waiting to be thrown on. Maybe it's the crunch of leaves under my feet...
However, above all the fun, seasonal activities, I think what matters most to me is gathering with the ones I love to enjoy festive meals while giving thanks to the Lord for His faithful love and blessings.
I began my online shop, Flourishing Grace: Christian Home Decor & Stationery, last fall as a way to create thoughtfully-designed pieces to encourage faith in our homes and from our desks.
The inspiration for this autumn-themed home decor collection comes from a heart of gratitude and praise to God.
The fall brings with it slower, more reflective days. In these still moments, we're given the opportunity to remember the Lord's goodness and everlasting love. The three words that I chose to represent the heart of this decor line are gather, harvest, & blessing.
G A T H E R -
The Biblical definition of gather is to come together as a community to worship the LORD and praise Him with thanksgiving.
Autumn is a season we intentionally gather together with loved ones for cozy meals, seasonal activities, and times of worship to our Creator. The slower pace of life it brings creates space for moments of reflection, gratitude, and rest. May it be a season of gathering where our focus is on the things of life that matter most - our relationship with God and with each other.

The Biblical definition of harvest is the LORD’s provision and blessings in our lives.
Historically, autumn has always been a season when farmers gather the bounty of crops from their fields. It is a season marked with joy and thanksgiving to God for providing the necessary elements for their crops to grow abundantly. The reward for their labor is food provisions for the coming year. Spiritually, it marks a season of reflective gratitude for every blessing and provision that the LORD has blessed our nation with, as well as those in our personal lives.

“Faithful love and truth will join together; righteousness and peace will embrace. Truth will spring up from the earth,and righteousness will look down from heaven. Also, the Lord will provide what is good, and our land will yield its crops.” ~Psalm 85:10-12

B L E S S I N G -
The Biblical definition of blessing refers to the flourishing and multiplication in life by the grace of God.
Autumn is a season marked with the theme of thanksgiving. During this time, we express our thankfulness to God for His faithfulness to us, as well as for every blessing He has bestowed upon our lives. Blessings of life, health, wholeness, companionship, unconditional love, success, expansion, fertility, protection, growth, favor, and so forth are remembered with joyfulness. It is a time of praise to the King of kings who has given us all things in Christ Jesus for life and godliness.
